These terms govern your use of the Meer Foundation website and digital platforms. By accessing, browsing, or interacting with any part of this site, you agree to the terms set out below. We have written them in plain language so that the obligations on both sides are clear.
A note on these terms
These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the user) and Meer Foundation (the operator of this website). They define the rules of engagement, the rights you are granted, and the obligations you accept when you use the site.
Meer Foundation is a non-profit society registered on 23 December 2011 under the Chhattisgarh Societies Registration Act 1973 (44), Reg. No. 3588, with its registered office at House No 103, Housing Board Colony, Hatkeshar, Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh 493773.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website. Where specific sub-platforms (e.g., the EduSuTo certification portal) have their own terms, those terms are additional to, and read alongside, these Terms of Use.
Binding agreement
By using this site you enter into a binding agreement with Meer Foundation. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Indian law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh.
Subject to revision
We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the website at least 30 days before they take effect.
How you accept these terms
Acceptance of these terms does not require a signature. By taking any of the actions below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms in full.
Browsing the website
Simply visiting any page on meersfoundation.in — including the homepage, programme pages, and blog posts — constitutes acceptance of these terms.
Submitting a form
Filling out any form — contact, donation, volunteer, internship, enrolment — confirms your acceptance, as does ticking an explicit consent checkbox where present.
Creating an account
Registering for an EduSuTo course, Prayaas Online access, or any other password-protected area of the site requires explicit acceptance at sign-up.
Continued use after changes
When we update these terms, your continued use of the website after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
What we ask of you
These obligations protect the integrity of the website and the safety of everyone who uses it. Breach of any of these obligations may result in suspension of access, withdrawal of certifications, and where appropriate, legal action.
Who owns what
The content on this website is the product of fourteen years of fieldwork, research, and writing. The intellectual-property framework below clarifies what you may use, how, and with what attribution.

All content on this website — including text, illustrations, photographs, course materials, reports, and the website design itself — is owned by Meer Foundation unless otherwise stated. All rights are reserved.
Educational materials (CC-BY 4.0)
Our educational and awareness materials — including the First Aid guide series, river-conservation primers, and PDF resources in the public resource library — are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). You may share and adapt them with attribution to “Meer Foundation”.
Brand assets
The Meer Foundation name, logo, the Five Pillars Framework, the Bolti Nadi, Prayaas, EduSuTo, and Farmours marks are trademarks of Meer Foundation. They may not be used without prior written consent, except for genuine, non-misleading journalistic or academic reference.
Certification content
Course materials, assessments, and certificates issued under EduSuTo, Prayaas Online, or any other certified programme are the exclusive property of Meer Foundation. They may not be redistributed, republished, or used for commercial training without a written licence.
What we do and don't warrant
This website is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. While we take great care to ensure accuracy and availability, the warranties below define the limits of our commitment to you.
What we warrant
- That this website is operated by Meer Foundation, a registered non-profit society in Chhattisgarh.
- That all donations collected through this website are received by Meer Foundation and used for the stated purposes.
- That every certificate issued by our certification programmes corresponds to a genuine record of completion.
- That we will maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, as described in our Privacy Policy.
What we do not warrant
- That the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- That any information on the site is fit for a particular purpose — including medical, legal, or financial advice.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. The legal framework below defines how disputes will be resolved and which authorities have jurisdiction.
Governing law
The laws of the Republic of India, including the Chhattisgarh Societies Registration Act 1973 (44), the Information Technology Act 2000, and the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Jurisdiction
Subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh, India. Disputes may, however, first be referred to mediation.
Dispute resolution
We commit to attempting good-faith dialogue to resolve any dispute before initiating litigation. A written notice to meercare@live.com begins this process.
